DEAN THROUGH TO FINAL OF PLATE

18 Jun 2009

Despite many first team players being away on tour in Nottingham, Cookham Dean eased past Chiltern League opposition Littlewick Green.

Batting first, Cookham made 192-4 in their 20 overs with stand-in skipper Clive Lambden top-scoring with 68. In reply, due to good opening spells from Nick Borland and Aaron O'Donoghue, Littlewick Green never looked like getting close to the target and were eventually bowled out for 102.

Cookham Dean now play Maidenhead & Bray in the final of the competition at Pinkneys Green on Wednesday 1st July.
