Hiring the Club



     

  
 
Cookham Dean Cricket Club is available for private functions such as parties, receptions, dinners and meetings. We offer a fully stocked bar, recently furnished lounge area, flexible furniture layout, french windows opening onto a terrace, free wi-fi - all in a quiet, rural location with views to Cliveden House and the Chiltern Hills. Organisers are free to set the room up as they want it - all we ask is that it is left as it is found. Other than bar staff, the place will be yours for the event so it is an excellent venue for anniversaries and family celebrations. We are used to being flexible and welcome organisers to set the room up, in advance, to their own layout. Parties can self-cater or bring in caterers and there are barbecue facilities, kitchen, bain marie, folding tables/chairs available for your use. Guests can watch weekend cricket and walk from the lounge area to the terrace to enjoy a drink in an idyllic setting. 

All of these facilities are provided within the letting fee. Reduced rates apply during daytime, when cricket matches are being played, for club members and for events of a "charitable" nature.  All alcohol must be purchased from CDCC unless a corkage charge set by CDCC is paid. Marquees can be used and the ground is available for hire for cricket matches - rates on request. Music can be played - subject to license conditions. There is ample parking, room for up to 80 people with good catering and bar facilities if required.
