Following the disappointing defeat to Desborough School in the first round of the main competition of this seasons Julian Cup, Cookham were drawn against Berkshire League division 1 side Waltham St Lawrence in the first round of the plate.

After winning the toss, we opted to field and Waltham St Lawrence made 124-3 in their 20 overs. In reply, the Dean were always on top and knocked off the runs in the 16th over, losing only 3 wickets. Tom Wells-Cole top scored with 51, before having to retire under Julian Cup rules.

We now face the winner of Little Marlow vs Littlewick Green in the semi-final of the competition.
