The 2022 fixtures for our four league sides have now been confirmed with the season starting on 7th May and concluding on 3rd September.
The 1st XI start the season with new captain Yasir Qureshi with a home game against Henley 2nds, promoted from Division 2 last year. Burnham have been relegated from the Home Counties and Eversley are the other promoted side. There's plenty of local interest and familiar opposition in the shape of Boyne Hill, Beaconsfield, Stoke Green and Gerrards Cross. Falkland and Ickenham are the other sides in the division. The 1st XI's season ends at home to Gerrards Cross.
The 2nd XI kick off their 4b campaign under Parminder Mangat with a trip along the A40 to Hillingdon Manor. Ruislip, Beaconsfield 2s and Chalfont St Giles are the other sides from last season. Slough 3s, High Wycombe 3s and Gerrards Cross 2s were relegated while Farnham Common and Wooburn Narkovians are the newly promoted sides. The 2nds end their season with an away game at Gerrards Cross 2s.
The 3rd XI are back in Division 7 for the first time since 2018 after winning the 8b title last year. They will start at home to Fleet 2s and finish at home to Kidmore End 2s. Kulvinder Singh's side are in the western side of the league split so there will be some unfamiliar opposition for the 3s this year. There is local interest with matches against White Waltham 2s and Maidenhead and Bray 3s as well as longer trips to Newbury 2s and Falkland 3s. Wokingham 5s, Hurst 2s and Slough 5s complete the division.
Mike Cutting's 4th XI remain in Division 9a and start the season with a trip to Sulhamstead and Ufton 3s. Wokingham 6s and Royal Ascot 4s the only other sides we played last year. Maidenhead and Bray 4s are the most local opposition, the rest of the league includes Eversley 4s, Binfield 4s, Bagshot 3s and Finchampstead 5s. The season will end as it starts with another trip along the M4, this time to Theale and Tilehurst 3s.
