We field four Saturday league sides and a dedicated Ladies team, every weekend. The First XI compete in Thames Valley League (TVL) Division 1, a competition we have won twice in recent years (2015 and 2018). Our other Saturday sides compete between Division 4 and Division 9 of the TVL, and our Ladies team play in the Home Counties Women's League.
We are a progressive Cricket Club who have made large strides in recent years, particularly since joining the TVL from the Chilterns League in 2008. We field at least one Sunday friendly side each weekend side meaning there are always opportunities for players of all abilities. In addition, the club will yet again be entering the National Village Cup, a Sunday competition where we have won the Berkshire section in six of the last eight seasons. Finally, the club enters the Maidenhead Area Julian Cup, which is a long standing evening knockout competition.
Cookham Dean are always looking for new adult members, both playing and non-playing, to help strengthen the club. We have a diverse membership, with a mixture of people living in the village, and also from Maidenhead and further afield. Please contact Ben Millar ( benmillar4@gmail.com) or Sian Nash (Siannash11@gmail.com) for more information with regards to Mens or Ladies section of the cricket club, respectively.
Over the last twenty years, the colts section has grown hugely and has had a large amount of success with around a dozen sides being run between Under 9s and Under 19s, as we have established our Junior section as the best of any Cricket Club in the Maidenhead area. New colts are always welcome to join, and to get more information contact colts co-ordinator, Dan le Fleming at dlefleming@gmail.com.
For enquiries about booking the club, please contact Lydia Hill via email at lydhill7@gmail.com.
