Hi all,

Another fantastic season for the club closes tomorrow but there is still plenty going on over the next few weeks!

Firstly, next Saturday we will holding a working party to 'put the ground to bed' for winter. We will start at 10am and Mr Stringer will no doubt have plenty of tasks for us to do. The more that can make it, the easier the day will be and even if you can only spare an hour or two, please come up to lend a hand!

On Friday 17th October The Players Meeting will be held at the club, 7.45pm start. Please make every effort to attend as this is an important opportunity for the players to put forward their views about how the club is run and make suggestions for improvements. Elections of captains and other cricket officials will also take place so if you are interested in taking on a role, please let me know!

Friday 3rd October sees the 60s rock night take place at the club, I made an error in a previous email stating that this was on Saturday. Please contact John Mellor for details if you want to go on that.

The following Friday (10th October), a poker night is being held. If you are interested in that, please contact Alexis Austin as per the previous email.

There is also a trip to the Rebellion Brewery members night on Tuesday 7th October. Please let me or my dad know if you are keen to come on this.
