Dear all,

Following the sacking of Friendly XI Captain Simon D'Ardenne amid allegations of corruption, bribery and inappropriate behaviour towards the tea ladies, myself and Johnny Gay will be captaining the two final remaining friendlies on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

This is the last chance to score runs, take wickets and generally have fun before winters sets on the 2014 season.
