1STS STILL EYE UP PROMOTION

The 1st XI remain well placed for promotion from 3B of the Thames Valley League after a comfortable 74 run win over bottom side NPL Teddington. The Dean batted first with Tom Wells-Cole and Tom Bibby both making 40s before Christian Austin's 71 powered them up to 253-7 declared. Austin took 4 wickets while Justin Rodgie took 3 and Aaron O'Donoghue 2 as Cookham won easily.

The 2nds enjoyed a high scoring draw thanks mainly to Jake Richardson (96) and Arun Brar (90). They racked up 275-5 while Datchet 2 could only muster 194-7 in response.

The 3rds picked up an impressive 85 run win over Datchet 4s. After losing four wicket early on, Jonathan Gay and Adam Barratt rebuilt, with help from the lower order, to help Cookham post 223. Wickets were shared around as Datchet were bowled out for 138.

The Sunday 1sts lost by 41 runs to Wooburn Narks while the Sunday 2nds lost by 5 wickets at Binfield.
