After his latest display of 26 runs eked out from 33 overs, Arun Brar has decided to resign with immediate effect from his position as opening bat for Cookham Dean 2nd XI.
His replacement will be a brand new Wheelie bin which the team think has just the same amount of shots. "Strike Bowler" James Taylor commented, "It's not all bad, we intend to pour some paint on it at the start of each innings and watching that dry will provide about the same amount of excitement generated by the speccy twat we had before".
Arun says that after hanging up his bat he wishes to devote more time to his precious hobbies of trainspotting, stamp collecting and repairing children's playgrounds.
