This weekend sees Ricketts Field host two 1st team games. After last weekend's called off game against Little Marlow, Cookham will be keen to play their first game of the season in a friendly against Division 5 side Ruislip who are captained by former CDCC player and uncle of 1st Team star Sav Gandesha, Bipin Patel. The Cookham side is: Ben Millar, Sav Gandesha, George Edlin, Pres Patel, Imran Butt, Christian Austin, Rory Millar, Arun Brar, Lt Simon D'Ardenne, Amit Patel, Mike Cutting. Sunday sees a vitally important clash in the Village Cup against local rivals and former Chilterns League sparring partners, Braywood. CDCC look set to line up like this: Ben Millar, Dave Brooks, Sav Gandesha, Tom Bibby, Imran Butt, Shaun Glover, Christian Austin, Amit Patel, Rory Millar, Pres Patel, Nick Borland. It would be great to see as many club members up at the club on Sunday to support the team for this cup clash!
