Match report Comfortable win on Sunday for the boys against the 9 men of Datchet- though we let two bat twice and gave them a fielder !

After Lewis, George Y and Sam struggled to maintain a consistent length, Datchet were looking well placed at 52-2 at the halfway stage. And then in stepped Oli with his swinging pace and James with his non-turning double bluff off spin to strangle the life out of the Datchet innings and share 5 wickets, including two in two balls for Oil who then speared the hat trick ball a foot down the leg side

Some late hitting saw Datchet reach 89 and with George K and Iwan on the hutch off consecutive balls, things looked dicey at 17-2. But in strode Jamie to join James and a nifty partnership worth 51 ensued as they rotated the strike with singles and Jamie biffed the bad ball for four.

James carried his bat as the Dean won in the 17th over, with a Liam cameo culminating in the winning runs being bludgeoned through mid wicket to complete a very mature performance from a young team.

It was almost as proficient as that of England later with the football and the white ball - 3 great wins !
