Match report A remarkable victory for the Kestrels in their first league match of the campaign against a strong Windsor team.

A powerful Windsor batting line-up threatened to post a big score, but continued nagging line-and-length bowling, good fielding and a remarkable diving boundary catch by Lashvein brought rewards towards the end in pegging Windsor back to 134 from their 20 overs. Still a very good score but not completely out of sight.

In response, we started slowly and were 27 for 3 in the eighth over when captain Matt joined opener DJ in the middle needing an unlikely 108 to win at more than 8.5 runs per over. They didn't panic though, and gradually built foundations before accelerating the scoring rate against a solid Windsor attack. With 32 needed from the last 3 overs they went into full-on attack mode, and chased down the target with 5 balls to spare to seal a famous victory.
