Match report Another difficult match against a strong Bucks side ended in defeat by 8 wickets.

Beaconsfield won the toss and put us in to bat. Lashvein and Rugved got off to a good start in the first over, but calamity struck as we lost three wickets in the second over. Harrison (7) and Henry (19) then put together a good partnership of 25 runs, and at 33 for 3 it looked like a good score could still be achieved. Sadly a collapse followed in the face of accurate bowling and we were all out for 48 in the 13th over.

When Beaconsfield replied, Lashvein took two quick wickets to give a glimmer of hope, but that brought Evans to the crease and he proved too powerful, hitting 6 boundaries in short order to lead Beaconsfield to the target in just over 6 overs. Thanks to Harrison for captaining, to Henry Jeevan and Sam for joining us from the U11 squad and contributing well, and well done to Louis who - on his birthday - put in a good debut performance with the keepers gloves and even took a caught behind when we played out 4 more overs after the end of the match.
