Match report Cookham Dean 3rd XI recorded a resounding 216 run success over local Rivals Marlow 3rd XI in divison 9 of the TVL on Saturday. Winning the toss, Cookham decided to bat and some indifferent bowling coupled with destructive batting from the top order saw them amass 300 (for 5) before declaring. James Taylor (52), Mark Kirton (37) and Graham Wilson (32) all had good knocks but the star of the show was Bertie Kennedy whose 137 set the home side a huge ask.

In reply, Marlow never really got going and wickets fell regularly. David Morey (3 for 13) James Taylor (3 for 21) were the pick of the bowlers and with Carl Slater (2 for20) weighing in, Marlow were all out for 84.
