Hi all,

First of all I'm sure that everyone will join me in congratulating the 1st XI on their success in winning the Thames Valley Cricket League title on Saturday. It's amazing to think of the strides the club has made in the last decade or so from being a relatively weak Chilterns League club to one of the best in the area. We only joined the TVL in 2008 in Division 4 so to achieve a fourth promotion in eight seasons is a remarkable achievement!

The Players Meeting will take place on Friday 25th September at the club, 7.30pm start. This is the meeting where captains for 2016 are elected, plans for next season are discussed and proposals from the players to put forward to the main club AGM are made. Please make every effort to attend to ensure that your views are heard! I'll send out an agenda and other documents in due course. If you would like to be involved with the club or are keen to stand for a role, please feel free to discuss with me.

Finally, believe it or not there are still a few games scheduled between now and the end of September! Please let me know if you are keen to play in any of these or update your availability via the function on the website.
