Dear Club Member,

As we all know Tony is standing down as Chairman  after more than 10 years in the post.

The committee and club are very grateful for Tony’s excellent leadership of the club over such a successful  period.

We therefore need to appoint a new Chairman  and Tony will be proposing  Ian as his successor and  I will be pleased to second him.

On the above basis there will then be a vacancy for Vice Chairman and Ian has kindly indicated he would  propose me for the post  which if if I am elected will create  a vacancy for Secretary. I would be happy to carry out both roles.

NIgel Seddon as Colts Manager designate has agreed to be nominated to come onto the committee for which the club are grateful.

There will still be a vacancy on the committee and the club is need of a Events Manager to organise events as a revenue raiser to meet the costs of running the club and the cost of future improvements.

I therefore ask for any volunteers to put themselves forward for nomination to be elected to  the committee to contact me by e-mail at john@jgsurveyors.co.uk by the end of the day on 14th January to advise me of their interest in coming onto the committee to run Events or undertake any other role on the committee.
