Hi all,

The CDCC Sportsman's Dinner will be taking place at the club on Friday 26th September as part of the Ricketts Field 30th anniversary celebrations. This should be a great opportunity to celebrate what has been a fantastic season and I hope to see plenty of players there.

Tickets are £35 and the guest speaker is The Sun's Chief Cricket Correspondent John Etheridge who is a regular on Sky's Cricket Writers on TV programme.

Meal choices are below:

Starters:

(1) Duck & Orange Pate

(2) Creamy Tomato & Lentil Soup

(3) Avocado & Prawns Salad

Mains:

(1) Pork Braised in cider vinegar

(2) Salmon, Cod, Smoked Haddock with Prawns in a creamy dill sauce topped with creamy mashed potatoes

(3) Venison & Farmhouse vegetable Pie with new potatoes

Desserts:

(1) Pear Cranberry & Frangipane tart

(2)Fresh Cream Pavlova

Followed by Cheeseboards and Coffee
