Former club-captain George Allard has been selected as a volunteer for the Volunteer Services Overseas (VSO) programme so will be heading off to either South East Asia or Africa in July/August.  

George is therefore hosting a quiz night on Sunday 5th May (bank holiday weekend) at the club as a fundraiser for his trip.  The quiz will start at 7.30pm. The cost will be £12, with food being provided and various prizes will also be on offer.  

The VSO is a charity and is dependent on public donations for their existence.  The organisation's vision is of a world without poverty in which people work together to fulfill their potential.  

This will be a highly enjoyable evening and is supporting a very worthy cause, so it would be great for as many to attend as possible!
