CRICKET FORCE WORKING PARTY SATURDAY 27TH MARCH

19 Mar 2010

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm sure you are aware that the cricket season is fast approaching. Senior matches start in under a month and there are a number of things to keep us busy until then.

1. Indoor nets are running for seniors on Sunday afternoons 1-2 at St Pirans school, there are three sessions left so please come along and get a head start.
2. The Gents dinner is on 9th April with Dean Headley speaking. Tickets are selling out fast so don't miss out, see the website or speak to Mark Fish for more details.
3. The real ale festival will be run on the 10th and 11th April with a comedy night, classic cars and other events. Again, see the website for more information.

The real subject of this email, however, is to let you know about the Natwest Cricket Force day we are running on Saturday 27th March. Over the winter we have been running regular work parties on Saturday mornings and have had great success in renovating and extending the car park, moving the petanque pitch and with the new nets due to be finished next week, there has been a remarkable amount of improvement that has aleady happened.

The 27th will be the biggest and last working party of the year and will include repainting the pavilion in preparation for the installation of new windows and a large patio door direct to the bar area as well as general preparation for the season. We will need in the region of 30-40 helpers throughout the day from 10 until about 4 although please feel free to come and go as you are available. We will need help in all aspects, including making refeshments so even if you're a liability with a paint brush you have no excuse! There will be more details sent to you nearer the time and on the website but please try and keep some time free to come and have a look at (and be a part of) the most productive off-season the club has seen for years.

Kind regards,

Tom Bibby

Club Captain
