2023 COLTS TRAINING

27 Apr 2023

See below for details of the 2023 colts training sessions at the club.

During the Friday sessions the bar will be open and we will usually have a BBQ running.

Please check-in on arrival at the club and allow time for doing so before the start of your session.

There will be very limited capacity in the club car park. Please try to use alternative transport where possible and, if you do drive, please park on local streets in a respectful way to local residents.

Please see below for the timing and location of your session and the name of the coach leading the session.

Girls can either train with their mixed age group or with one (or both) of the girls only sessions.

For those unfamiliar, here is a rough map of the club indicating where to find things

Finally, a couple of important things to note:

  • The hardball sessions involve hard cricket balls, which can hurt. Please ensure younger children stay well out of harm’s way.
  • The sightscreens (large white wooden screens on rollers) are not designed to be either climbing frames or football goalposts. They are too big to move out of the way so please can you try to prevent children from misusing them.
  • The covers (large green tarpaulins on wheels) are not toys and it is not a good idea to crawl underneath them. Please keep your kids away from them.
  • The car park is not a safe play area. As well as the danger of cars there are also sometimes building materials and debris there due to ongoing maintenance work. Please can you keep your kids away from there.
