There was another victory for Cookham Dean CC last Friday evening as star cricketer, broadcaster(and Strictly winner) Darren Gough entertained us at our Annual End of Season Dinner.
It was a truly memorable night that added a healthy five figure sum to the Pavilion Building Fund and gave us another reason to celebrate our successes both on and off the field.
The Dinner was bigger than ever - 170 were well fed and watered and hugely entertained by Darren with his stories of dancing, cricketing and his passion of wildlife conservation.
Our pavilion fund is launched.....and all and every fundraising idea is welcome. Thanks to the whole dinner organising committee, in particular Ian Davis and John Gay who put in many hours to ensure the success of a great event.
