Tom Bayley profile

  • Tom has been a playing member of Cookham Dean CC ever since the days of being an Under-13, which began in 2003 when he was 12 and was roped into it by his schoolfriend, Rory Millar. His arrival sparked a succession of further signings from Borlase's school in Marlow, leading to an era of unprecedented failure for the Colts side. His highest score of 60 not out came in a match-winning performance against Boyne Hill, a match in the first innings of which he took 3 marvellous catches. His rank mediorcrity is utterly symbolic of the shambles that passed for the Under 17s side of 2008, which was far inferior to sides of the Jonathan Gay/Ben Millar era.
